Howdy!

I have lived an amazing life. I crossed the country in an antique school bus with my trusty unicycle. I nearly drowned in the Chesapeake Bay in an antique boat named Nutmeg. I have an 8th-grade education, a GED, and a Master's in quantum computing.

I am a southerner, a quantum scientist, a mother, a teacher, and an avid book-on-tape listener. I grew up raising chickens, milking goats, and riding horses in rural North Carolina and Arizona. Now I program the most advanced quantum supercomputers known to man.

I woke up this morning flushed with the fluttering heart of a prey animal The world is grey. darkening deeper still The sun is gone and I need a light. Anyone. Someone The internet told me that young sunflowers turn, tracing the arc of the sun, and when the clouds hide the light they face each other Then the internet told me this was fake news I don't know what is real through this distorting lens that looks darkly into the swirling tempest and I have no sunflowers of my own
